A SNAP member can use the Snap Program to pay for the purchase of a home, rent or mortgage, or buy a second or third home.
The program is only available to SNAP members in the states of New York, California, Maryland, Washington and Rhode Island.
A SNAP member may be eligible to receive SNAP benefits if the SNAP member is a person who is: elderly, disabled, or on a food stamp, Medicaid, or TANF program; or
